| Since 9-11 all you’ve heard is... "Americans have come back … and we’ve suffered but we’re O.K. now"… That’s not true , one industry that has suffered and shows no signs of recovering…is the airline industry… Service has always been a mainstay of the airline industry…but with the cutbacks and employees losing benefits…the now-depleted airline industry is but a shadow of it’s old self… Problems faced include-rising fuel costs…no longer are the majority of its employees are full-time… loss of benefits… veteran employees are gone "either laid off… or taking an early retirement and current employees don’t have a vested interest in the Business…because airlines have had to slash prices… The airline industry that has bled “Thirty Billion dollars since 9-11 and has two or three airlines threatening bankruptcy…The morale of airline employees is obviously very low…their attitudes are not very good either…and, you can understand why…most make no more than ten dollars an hour… with no benefits…they don’t get forty hours a week…and the airlines are their second jobs…Security at airports is a joke…as seen on the major news Networks…The hi-jackers went through security…so that’s not a cure… it just slows people down…the real answer isn’t “P.C.” …but it’s the only answer…Stop immigration from the Middle East…The Israeli Airline… El-Al gives extra security background checks to individuals they deem suspicious…The United States, on the other hand, seems resigned to the notion that the United States is going to be attacked again… and for those who say why should all Middle Eastern people be banned...because sometimes a few of us spoil things for the rest of us… And what about the illegal immigrants from Mexico…They have never bombed the World Trade Center and hi-jacked our planes…nor made tapes threatening to kill Americans or chopped off people’s heads…With the high cost of fuel…the weak customer service… and the security hassles...don’t expect to see the airline industry come back to its good old days anytime soon… Low- cost airlines are going to be the future… Southwest and Jet Blue are leading the way…Deregulation and Political Correctness have destroyed a major part of Americana and its economy... |
