| When in Rome... do as the Romans do... Keith Ellison is a newly elected Congressman from Minnesota... He is also a Muslim... In January, when the new Congress is sworn in... He wants to be sworn in not with his hand on the Bible but with his hand on the Koran... Breaking with the "American" tradition... Mr. Ellison will be paid by the American People... he will be voting on American Law... and he will be sitting in the American Congress... Enough said...If Mr. Ellison would like to vote on Muslim law and place his hand on the Koran...perhaps he should go to Turkey...a predominately Muslim country... What would happen if Edward Kennedy were to go to Turkey and vote on Muslim law...and ask that the Bible be the religious book of choice... I don't think that would go over well...America is a Judeo Christian Nation... but all religions can pray and have their places of worship... and worship freely... But, when it comes to American Tradition, America must maintain that... our "Traditions" are eroding ...Things like traditional marriage...prayer in school, Christmas and the list goes on...Mr. Ellison isn't the point here...it's American Tradition... Baseball, Apple Pie and Chevrolet... When it's comes to what made America great... It's time that Americans...Go All In... |
