Sail To The Chief...
Well, George W Bush's term is officially
coming to the end...
But it's been in Limbo for a long time...
George Bush will go down as the worst
president since Jimmy Carter...
From the Economy, the War, Domestic
Policy...Ronald Reagan's name is mentioned
by Conservatives more times than
you've heard the names Britney Spears and Paris Hilton in the media...
George Bush came to office with the label
of " Compassionate Conservative " and
smaller government...well let's take a
look, " Compassionate Conservative",
Just ask the people in New Orleans about
that ... I know we all like to keep government
out of things... but We do have " FEMA" ...
and even though reports of a major
storm were well known ... "FEMA" was asleep at the wheel and the People in New
Orleans are still suffering... Yes local
government did drop the ball somewhat...
but the federal government still seems
"Dazed & Confused", the people in
New Orleans will never know life the way
they once did...Smaller government hasn't happened, some of it because
of the "War" ... government has
increased almost two times...
Bush has borrowed foreign money and used it like an ATM...It's going to be time
to pay up soon...Going from a surplus
when he took office ... to the biggest
deficit in American history...was
he well served by his advisors
when it came to the Iraq war...no.
Donald Rumsfeld was told over and
over again there weren't enough troops
on the ground in the Middle East...
Of course there's an argument that
can made that we shouldn't have
gone to war in the first place...
But not until he was ready to
leave office did the "More Boots"
on the ground go into effect...
Then there was Bush's infamous
"Mission Accomplished" speech,
That was bad information...Bush has
spent over 430 Billion on the war
with no end in sight...
Scandal was supposed to be something
a Bush administration was supposed to
end after eight years of the "Clinton" scandal riddled term...But between the
Scooter Libby,
Karl Rove, Alberto Gonzales, Mark Foley , Bush ranks right up there in
Scandals...
The only strengths of Bush's time in
Office were his Supreme Court
appointments... Sam Alito and
John Roberts...but even that
was tainted by his second nominee
Harriet Miers... someone who had no Judicial
experience or experience in Constitutional Law
she was un-qualified...conservatives and liberals both came down hard on this
nomination ...
Economic growth has come to a stand still
under this Bush administration...
to the point that we're now in an economic recession...The United States’ world
standing has gone completely down ...
and the respect around the world is
at an all time low... It has gotten so
bad Democrats don't even spend
time attacking him...
Republicans don't mention him...he's
the "Stealth" President ...he's the invisible President...both parties just want
him
to leave......You've haven't heard a Republican
candidate say , I want to continue the
Bush policies"... The old political saying,
"Are you better off now, then when
I took office"... Bush doesn't want to hear
America's answer to that...
The Republican party is in shambles...
and left in worse shape than when he
came into office...Bush isn't only a lame
duck president he's been a "Lame"
President... I voted for Bush...
I'm ashamed of the "Job" he's done,
the way he went about it and
the "Results" he's gotten...
George W. Bush's eight years
in office has made America...
"The Biggest Loser".
